-Social Media, not just for individual self representation -Negative implications come from misrepresentations from mass-media’s
-Social media reaches out to a specific-targeted audience
-Social media can allow you to create an identity based on an ‘imagined audience’
-Be ‘yourself’ on social media without the fears of cyber-bulling, stereotyping and pressures of gaining a certain social status
- social media platforms gives us opportunities to launch our careers in new ways than was possible before

-We will look more critically at the way we engage and represent ourselves via Social Media.
-We will use social media to reflect positive community and representation, and not reflect negatively
-social media platforms/technologies allow us to have social support in other ways than traditionally thought of.
